I Am Bored. Repeat 3x

For people asking why I decided to dye my hair (see previous blog post for pictures), here are my reasons why I dyed it to a shade of ‘Caramel Brown’:

1. Watson’s had a three day super sale, and I bought the hair dye at 10% off (and besides. It’s much better tospend my money on Kikay stuff rather than equestrian apparel)

2. I’ve been planning to dye my hair for months already, and sembreak’s my only chance to do it. 

3. I am growing my hair longer and have no plans of cutting it any time soon. So, found another way to spruce it up — HAIR DYE

4.  I was bored.

5. I was bored.

6. Did i mention that I was bored?

Of Dyed Hair and Bitin Pants

My dad asked me to go to SM Muntinlupa to canvass desktop PCs that we could use at home. I am not really a fan of bulky Personal Computers, since i really can’t settle on just one place when working. But, i think it’s still a good idea if we buy a new PC so that we can finally apply for a broadband/DSL connection (I’m spending too much on prepaid broadband internet). 

 Cam-whoring is more fun than fitting for new pants :/ Oh. Dyed my hair ‘Caramel Brown’ BTW

Anyway, SM’s having a three-day sale and I resisted the temptation of buying two new pairs of pants from Bench and Human (at only 499php each). I was feeling lucky and wanted to try playing Bingo (at 20php per game) but since I didn’t have much time and I need to go home early to finish some articles, I went to the Supermarket instead without really knowing what to buy (maybe buy a kershaw chive or whatever I find interesting and useful).

Watson’s 3-Day Super Sale!

I bought brown hair dye this afternoon at 10% off. Watson’s is having a three day sale and I took advantage of it by buying make ups, moisturizing hand wash, hair dye, chocolates and a hair treatment pack from Sun Silk.

Basically, I spent a quarter of my month’s earning in less than an hour, and was even thinking of buying make up brushes. I’m thinking of spending my next payout on ordering make ups and shoes on the internet and maybe, just maybe, sell them for a profit.

Getting a good deal with 250php

I bought a new pair of swimsuit for only 250php!

I was planning to allot at least 2,000 from my payout for new swimsuits but with something as cheap as this, why bother? I’ll save for a new rash guard and boardshorts instead and maybe, new slipcovers or rather, cover ups (conservative kuno). Even if i got it for a quarter (heck even more!) of the usual selling price in malls, te quality was not compromised and I absolutely love the color and design. I even reserved a Victoria’s Secret swim top, and another pair of swimsuit. 

Now that I have new swimsuits and a Baler trip to look forward to, the only thing left for me to do is to lose weight and if possible, reduce the love handles that are very unflatttering btw. :/

Frustrated Blogger

After years of blogging and using different social networking sites, I still haven’t acquired the art of making funny captions or doing catchy titles.

I must admit i am not a good blogger and i made this blog because i have my own, uhm, ‘reasons’. But after two years of managing my blog, you can still see that I am so lame in making titles and the contents are not really that interesting (but this definitely is better than funeral planning).

Money. Money and more Money

Last blog post before i call it a night (or erm, dawn).

I’ve been surfing the net all night, looking for potential business opportunities that I can invest in and hopefully, earn money. I’ve visited websites offering make ups at a discounted price (wholesale) and I even checked Hello Kitty products. No matter how much i want to start a small business of my own, there is no way I can afford to invest money as of now. I have no job and my monthly/weekly stipends are provided by my parents. I am poor as a rat.

Actually, I have accessories (earrings and bracelets) from China to sell but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to bring them to Laguna so there is now way for me to do the necessary web works for my ebay account. *sigh*

Will post the link to my online shop once i have the chance to do it. I’ll be counting on you to buy accessories from me. Right? Right.

Hello, Hello Kitty. Play with us today!

I am a total fan of Hello Kitty, but I think there are just too many Hello Kitty products that are not even suitable for children. Since this is a wholesome blog, I cannot post pictures of offensive Sanrio product line. Check my tumblr and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

From bedsheets to cellphones. From nails to guns and it’s not even impossible that they release Ferrari Parts any time soon. Hello Kitty is now even invading our kitchens! Not only is Sanrio selling utensils and kitchen appliances, but die hard fans of the pink and adorable kitty are even cooking dishes in the shape of Hello Kitty. 

It won’t be long until we see a house not only in the shape of Hello Kitty, but also filled with various Sanrio products. 

No Memory Of You

I have two laptops with me right now. One’s mine, the other one is Allen’s. 

He left for Dumaguete last week and I won’t be seeing him until enrollment. I was planning on burning my downloaded TV series on DVD-Rs but since Pichu can’t do it (i don’t kow why!!!), I thought of doing it using his MSI. Unfortunately, Allen took with him my DVD-Rs and his 8gig USB. Now what am I supposed to do?

I don’t have enough disk space for new downloads. This sucks. Totally sucks.

I guess I’ll have to settle on online streaming for now. But watching them on a huge LCD TV would have been great. Seriously. I miss watching television. 

The Magic of 7 Days

I still have a week left before sembreak ends yet, I have an endless list of movies and series I can’t wait to watch.

I still have 4 glorious seasons of How I Met Your Mother and I’m still not done with Season1. 

I’ve downloaded Season 2 of True Blood, and I haven’t started downloading episodes from Season 3 yet.

Zombies and more zombies

 As promised, I’ll be blogging the Zombie enemies in Left 4 Dead 2. 

I haven’t played Left 4 Dead yet, so I’m not sure about the difference between the original and what I’m playing now. Anyhoo, I find the game  relaxing after a stressful and annoying exam.I know I should be working my nerves up because I’m up against zombies but what the heck. Blood and more blood everywhere. 

So here it is. The list of enemies in Left 4 Dead 2:

 1. Boomer - He is the fat man who will cover you in a bile that attracts bloodthirsty zombies

2.  Charger - I hate this character. He always goes after me. He’s the large and fast moving creature with a long mutant arm.

3. Common - Uncommons -  These special zombies are unique to each stage. let’s take the Carnival map, you will fight annoying clown zombies who are faster than the common zombies.

4. Hunter - A hoodi-wearing parkous zombie that is very fast and agile.

5. Infected - common zombies. Sometimes, I find them being ‘emo’ in one corner or just sitting there, waiting for your arrival. 

6. Smoker - I hate this one. You won’t see it until it gets you in the neck with its very long tongue. This zombie has the symptoms of a smoker’s life like coughing and weezing.

SUPRISE, SURPRISE

I’m not sure how i managed to pass my Russian10 class and get a grade in my PE3V class, when I am certain I haven’t completed the requirements for both classes. 

I missed half a sem worth of Russian10 class, wasn’t able to give any oral exam and only took 1 long exam out of the three and I wasn’t even able to take the finals because i didn’t have the time to study for that. What gives? How come my professor gave me a passing grade when clearly, I missed most (if not all) requirements. Maybe it’s because he didn’t allow me to drop his class when I told him I just didn’t have the extra time to take up an elective that won’t be even counted. 

Anyway, my professor in PE3V required us to watch at least two UAAP Beach Volleyball games but since they were scheduled on sundays and saturdays, I wasn’t able to watch any. Besides, I had exams on most of the saturdays last sem and yeah, the venue’s just way, way too far for me to go to. Caloocan? Imagine. I’ll be coming from Laguna just to watch a volleyball game? 

I’m not happy with my over all performance this semester though. But even if you ask me to take a course on rv repairs, I assure you I’ll pass that one too. Haha.

We didn’t plan to have dinner last night, but we really had to loosen up after doing that dreadful Mete17 finals. I’ve been craving for Flaming Wings since last week and since i can’t convince the boyfie to eat there (he says its too expensive. Pffft), i grabbed the opportunity and asked my classmates instead. If you pass a barcode scanner over my body, maybe it’ll register happy faces. Haha. Anyway, I wasn’t able to take a decent picture of my meal (this one’s grabbed from Google Images) because I was too hungry to even get my cellphone out of my bag to take  picture. 

The next time I go there, I will definitely try their Wicked Oreos

SEMBREAK. FINALLY

I can now finally succumb to the relaxing state of sem break. 

After a week of being restless, waiting for grades to magically appear in my CRS account and hoping to get exempted in one of my majors. After relentlessly cramming for the past 4 hours, my bluebook is now ready for submission and get some sleep for gahd’s sake. 

Whatever I do, i just can’t get rid of the dark circles under my puffy eyes caused by lack of sleep.(Looking for the best eyecreams? Try www.eyecreamsthatwork.net)

Thank God I still have a week to rest. One week of doing nothing but sleep, eat (more of pig out), and watch DVDs.  

Christmas. Christmas. oh Christmas.

Christmas is just a few weeks away and yet, I neither feel the thrill nor the Christmas breeze they’re all talking about. If you’ve been an avid reader of my blog, you’d know my sentiments on Holidays. If not, try reading my Christmas blog post two years ago. I know its sappy and poorly written because I really wasn’t in the mood when i wrote that.

 Anyway, I’m not sure if I can afford to buy everyone in my shopping list what they want for Christmas. I’m not earning enough and even if I did, I don’t know what they want to get for Christmas. Anyway, if you have suggestions or christmas gift ideas for couples , buzz me.

Spontaneity is the key

 This is the reason why I don’t like making plans: simply because I don’t want to assume and disappoint myself in the end if in any case my plans don’t push through. Spontaneity has always been the key and doing random things on a random day (like buying the best anti wrinkle cream in Watsons) is much more exciting and much more uhm, random. Right? Right.

I hate getting hyped up over something and getting disappointed in the end.  

Left 4 Dead 2

Of all the times I watched Allen and the boys play this game, it was only the other day that I got the chance to try it. I admit, I am no good in making reviews on anything so don’t expect me to rate the game, okay?

Anyway, I had fun playing the interactive video game and Im looking forward on killing more zombies soon. Srsly. But since i lack the eye-hand coordination that most gamers have, I need to practice more in order to survive the zombie-infested city of Louisiana.

Since  I can’t give you a sensible review of the game, I’ll give you a list of the characters instead

What happened to my diet?

I wasn’t able to jog last week because classes have already ended and I didn’t go out of the house unless I needed to grab a bite or go to Starbucks to study.  Although I went to school twice and brought with me my clothes and shoes for jogging yet, I didn’t have the energy to run around the oval and something unexpected came up which required me to cancel my jogging session.

And what made the situation worse is that I’m eating more calories than what sleeping and typing can actually burn. This is bad. Real baaaad. I even ordered 2 cups of rice the other day with barbecue (MEAT) as my ulam. Gahd.

Anyway, if you have any suggestions on best fat burners that you know of (and please make sure that I can afford it), just leave a comment after the beep *beep*

I was getting depressed from my poor academic performance lately which i have only realized a few days ago. The sem’s about to end and I know the enlightenment came a bit too late, so now I really can’t do anything to improve my grades. I am barely passing my majors and I wasn’t even exempted from an ES subject I am taking up this sem. 

Anyway, I wanted to eat Devil’s Food Cake from the Chocolate Kiss Cafe in UP Diliman but teh boyfie said the food there was expensive and he wanted to eat ‘real food’. So yeah, care to explain what is soooo not real about the cake that I want? (BTW, writing this post is making me hungry )
