Get some scars
Infirmatay, I don’t wanna die!
Thursday, September 23, 2010UP Diliman’s Infirmatay este Infirmary
I missed two days of classes because i was sick since tuesday. I’ve been meaning to go to the infirmary to have a check up and to get a medical certificate but i just didn’t have the energy to leave the house.
I was feeling a lot better since last night (thanks to two days of doing nothing but sleep!) but my temperature had gone up early this morning. I took meds right away since i don’t like the feeling of being sick and i can’t affor to miss any of my classes today.
This afternoon, I went to the infirmary (or should i say, INFIRMATAY?) to finally get a medical certificate but lo and behold, they needed a letter from my parents/guardian to certify that i stayed home and missed my classes. I didn’t have the energy to argue anymore and the nurse in the triage sent me to a doctor for a check up.
Dr. Maria Dolores Teneza. That’s the name of the doctor the triage nurse sent me to. She wasn’t really of any help and she was more of bitching out than helping me with my sickness. After ‘consulting’ with her, i told her, ‘No offense mam, but next time, can you not be so bastos?’ and she was still nonchalant and acted as if she didn’t care that she pissed me off.
I don’t think she deserves to be called a doctor and besides, if she were a good one, then why is she working at the infirmatay?
