Analytical Chemistry At Its Best
Thursday, April 29, 2010I am thinking of dropping my chem28 (Analytical Chemistry) lecture because lec and lab in one day for 5 days a week is not good for the health. I have been sleeping late for the past few days, and I don’t feel like studying for the exam on friday (oops! Come to think of it, that’s TOMORROW!) and i have 2 lab reports and 1 formal report due on Tuesday. Thank God for the loooong weekend, ill get the chance to rest and out midterms in the lab was moved from wednesday to saturday.
14 days ’til summer classes end.Until then, all i need to do is survive the freakin’ lab reports, experiments and quizzes done/given everyday.
It won’t be long ’til ill be askign for life insurance rate because im sure that one of these days, ill be needing it.
Centennial Graduate — NOT!
Tuesday, April 27, 2010Ngayon lang nag sink in sakin…
Summer — Time To Hit The Beach
Summer is the perfect time to go to the beach. But one thing always bothers me — what if im too fat to wear a bathing suit? What if my love handles show when i sit down or bend to pick up something?
I know I have the whole year to work out and lose weight, but i cannot help eating (or rather pigging out) whenever something delicious is served right in front of me. Boyfie does not want me thin, so he stuffs me with food he knows I like (remember the fries and sundae that we ate almost everyday?).
If you’d rather get thin and lose weight immediately, you could try taking dietary supplements to help you get slim immediately.
So anyway, I’m happy with my body right now. I may not have the body of a supermodel or the curves of Angel Locsin, at least i still get to enjoy my favorite foods without flushign it down the toilet afterwards.
*speaking of supplements, do you have any idea what Enzyte is?

Getting Abs
Tuesday, April 20, 2010
There are a lot of people telling me that I have been losing weight — in a good way and in not that haggard and stressed thin look.
The only thing that I find so hard acquire is the toned and firm abs that I have always wanted. I do crunches and leg raises every other day and even do weight exercises only to see that only my upper abdomen gets firm while my lower abdomen stays in its usual unflabulous way.
Anyway, I think I have been losing weight because I only eat meat once in a week and sometimes, I even find it unappetizing so I stick to my regular diet of white meat and vegetables. I learned recently that the fastest and most effective way in getting toned abs is to lose the excess fats around the abdominal area first and of course, do it along with ab workouts.
I have been doing this for almost three weeks and I can say that I have seen improvements already, but I still need to work on my lower abs to finally reach my goal.
If you want faster results, you could try using adipex diet pills to suppress your hunger and lessen your calorie intake.
French Toast Just Ain’t For Breakfast
Sunday, April 18, 2010
I am not really much of a cook but I was able to make a decent French toast this afternoon, so I guess that was an achievement. I know I can’t really brag about it because it’s easy to cook because all you need are eggs, milk, sugar and the ability to use the stove without burning yourself.
I cannot really recall the last time I cooked a decent meal for anyone, but I remember cooking spaghetti and other ulam back then that are edible and did not leave anyone choking to death. I am a good cook actually, but trying out new recipes ain’t really my thing because I am afraid of wasting food when I get it wrong.
Anyway, I promised myself that I would start learning to cook other recipes when I am done with my summer classes. Making results and discussion reports daily is no joke.
anyway, im still wondering what KVM switches are for.
Its Annoying Me
I swear I will delete all of my relatives in my Facebook friends list if they keep on updating my parents on every status updates that I post. I swear it’s annoying me and they keep on pestering me with stupid questions.
This is the problem with social networking sites and accepting invitation requests from family members and relatives. It’s not that I am hiding anything from them, but it’s just my social life is separated from my life at home. I ask them permission every time I go out and I always inform them on my whereabouts, so I just don’t see the point in updating them with everything. They do not need to see my Facebook status just to know what’s happening to me, because I always tell them what’s been happening in school, with my friends and even my love life. What else do they want to know?
Its annoying really.
BTW, if you want to lose fats the (lets say nearest) natural way, try enzyte. Read on reviews online to see how effective the product really is.
Summer Classes and Hating Every Minute Of It
Wednesday, April 14, 2010
Today was the first day of summer classes and I hated every freakin’ minute of it. While Allen was soaking in the sun and surfing the whole day, I had to endure 6 hours of classes without even having a single minute of break. Damn. He’s working for the campaign of Sen. Edgardo Angara’s son who’s running for some position in Baler, Aurora Quezon, but it turns out that they only have to work from Saturdays to Mondays, while they can relax and enjoy the beach the rest of the week and they even get paid for doing it. While I on the other hand is on the verge of suffering Carpal Tunnel Syndrome because of the freelance writing that I have been doing for the past few weeks just so I could earn extra money. Now how unfair could that be?
Never mind that my lab professor in Chemistry looks like Dingdong Dantes, but the thought of going to classes everyday makes me want to puke!
My summer vacation sucks.
The Mystery of The White Thingy Finally Solved

Karma is actually Newtonian: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
- Raj Koothrapali, The Big Bang Theaory (Season 3)
I’ve been addicted to The Big Bang Theory series lately and I just finished watching season 2 last night. With only twenty (20) minutes per episode, I was actually able to watch two seasons in just 3 days. I like the humor and its episodes’ titles and some of the words they use make you look in the dictionary and you’d have actually something new to learn.
So anyway, I’m looking forward to watching season 3 though I am not really sure how many seasons there are already.
FYI, the white thing you could find inside a pizza box is actually there to keep the lid from touching the pizza. Hallelujah. At least one of the greatest mysteries in life is finally solved. I thought it was placed there for aesthetic reason or as a utility in cutting the pizza. I guess I was wrong.
P.S I totally <3 Sheldon Cooper.

Finding the right words to start a blog post is usually one of the hardest things in blogging. Actually, collecting your thoughts and mixing them to create a sensible entry IS the hardest of all.
I haven’t had the time or the internet connection to update my blog regularly. Deadlines of projects and exams were also another factor why no new posts can be seen in my site often. I guess the rarity of filling in my blog was one of the reasons why its traffic has decreased dramatically in the past few days — or weeks I guess.
You could see in the bottom left of the page the rank of my website in Topblogs.com. From 200, I am now ranked at 538. I admit, the decreasing traffic of my blog and being in the bottom is breaking my heart. It took me months to move my ranking from 500 to 200, and it only took days for it to fall back to the 500s again.
How I Will Be Spending My Summer
Lots of things have been running on my mind lately, but I was too lazy to jot them all down because I was indulging myself with the week long vacation before summer school starts again.
That’s one of the price I have to pay for neglecting my studies in the early part of my college life. I admit, it was my fault that I won’t be graduating this April. The sunflowers are now starting to grow along the University Avenue and it won’t be long until they bloom their sunny bright flowers signifying that graduates would soon be marching up the stage to get their certificates. Well, technically they still won’t be getting their certificates, because it takes a long time for the university to process them (Yeah. That’s UP alright!).
I have to spend my summer studying Chemistry and spending my whole day inside a classroom and in a laboratory. It sucks, right? I have to deal with Quantitative Chemistry and just be done with it.
These past few days were spent on sleeping, playing computer games, reading books and more sleeping. Aside from doing the articles that I have to accomplish by the end of the day (the compensation’s okay, I guess), I have nothing else to stress about.
What saddens me the most is knowing that most people that I knew back in high school have already graduated college and some of them are even going to Medical schools already. Most of my block mates and college friends will be graduating this April and here I am, stuck in the College of Engineering, praying hard and doing my best just so I can graduate in a few years time. Shifting in another course in my 4th year is another letdown that I had to accept and cope with. But I must say that I don’t

Stress and How To Deal With It
Saturday, April 3, 2010
You know what I missed the most? Writing personal stuff in my blog. Most of the contents in my blog right now are short entries about random things.
The things that I have been up to in the past few weeks are:
· Preparing for the finals week
Exams. Lots of it. I had to endure reviewing until the wee hours of the morning and sit for hours answering questions and problems that seem impossible to solve. Days of preparation is not enough — it should be weeks and everything should be memorized by heart. Then there are professors who won’t upload their Power Point slides. I was planning on studying on a subject over the weekend so that I’ll have at least 5-6 days of preparation, but I can’t since I had no reading materials. Lo and behold, the slides magically appeared in the UVLE 2 days before the scheduled exam. Talk about getting ready days ahead before an exam.
· Lack of sleep
I can’t believe I was able to survive this long with just an average of 3-5 hours of sleep every night. My eye bags are screaming out in protest and it won’t be long until I’ll be trying out that Garnier’s eye roll thingy. I’ve had 9 hours of sleep yesterday but oh boy, my eyes were red and swollen and I just looked horrible (and I think that’s an understatement).
