When I have saved enough money to build my own dream home, I will never forget to include a recreation room (game room), lanai and a patio with enough patio furniture cushions. Imagine sitting on wooden chairs or even concrete! Spare my butt please. I’m willing to spend thousands of pesos for comfort.

Television ads feature women who used to be fat and claims that the reason for their weight loss is due to intake of diet pills, certain regimen or effective exercise. I believe in the power of right diet and exercise, but relying on pills to shed off any excess fat? IMPOSSIBLE. Though it may be possibe, i do believe that there is a side effect due to its chemical content.
C’mon people. We should know better than to rely purely on science for whatever change we want in our bodies.
I’ve written articles relating to cancer in my previous entries. I’m no student in medicine nor is my course related closely to it, so pardon me for my poor medical vocabulary and explanation in some topics/terms.
I was browsing the net when I stumbled upon conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and being the engineering student that I am, I had no idea what it is. Wikipedia explains chemical stuff about it, and even though I have taken up General Chemistry I and II as a pre-requisite for my major subjects, for me? The explanation was all Chinese.
Wikipedia says that it is an effective carcinogen, reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, and is also known to reduce body fat and increase lean muscle mass. The last property caught my interest, because I might benefit from it. But studies and tests show some inconsistencies, and in 2007, meta-analysis was conducted and it clearly showed that CLA has indeed some small impact on fat mass.

I’ve been in constant search of diets for quick weight loss ever since a lot of people started telling me that I’ve gained weight. So far, I haven’t had enough discipline to go through with my diet plans and exercise.
To start losing weight, I stopped eating red meat and included more vegetables and fruits in my daily diet regime. Though I must admit that there were a few times that I lost control and gave in on my cravings for meat.
I haven’t observed results yet, but I learned that I should avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes in order not to expose my un-fabulous flabs.
To my friends who think that they have the perfect body and that they’re all that:
SPARE ME THE INSULT PEOPLE. I may have gain weight since I started college, but you must admit, guys. I look TERRIFIC. I don’t have that same haggard look I have back when I was all skin and bones.
Don’t keep on looking and emphasizing my flaws just to make you feel good. We all have our insecurities but it doesn’t mean that YOU have to tell to my face that I HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO HAVE AN HOURGLASS FIGURE or that I WOULD LOOK GOOD if only I start losing my love handles. Because you know what? I AM PERFECTLY FINE and still look so damn hot even though I neither have a flat, toned tummy nor skinny legs. SO BACK OFF!
