Things you probably don’t know about me

THINGS YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME:

  1. My childhood nickname was ‘AGKO’. They said the noises that I made when I cooed when I was still a baby sounded like ‘HAGKOOO’, hence the nickname. And some of my aunts still call me that.
  2. When I was a kid, I used to read books backward. I start from the last page, and continue on reading until I get to the start of the story. Weird? Hah! I knew the ending right even before knowing the beginning (and how I wish life’s like that).
  3. I first tasted beer at the age of 6.
  4. I received a ‘Best in Math’ award in kinder. But now? Math is something I wish didn’t exist.
  5. I’m one heck of a frustrated writer
  6. I want to be published in the Youngblood’s section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
  7. I <3 dark chocolate despite its bitter-sweet taste.
  8. Dairy Queen’s Blizzard makes my day =)
  9. I can be funny one minute, then serious the next. These mood swings aren’t doing me any good — seriously.
  10. I was anorexic back in 2nd year college. I would only eat breakfast (then throw up after) and drink water/iced tea to keep me full for the rest of the day. At home (since my parents would force me to eat at meal times) I would only put 2 spoonfuls of rice in my plate and some ulam just so that they won’t scold me for not eating. Anorexia made my hair and nails brittle and made me look as if I’m three years older than my age. I looked stressed and there were always black circles under my eyes.
  11. Back in elementary and high school, people presumed that I was a tomboy since I walk like a boy and was always known to be siga. I almost got into a fistfight with one of my classmates when I was in first year. I can relate with them when it comes to PC games, WWE and other boyish stuff.
  12. I learned just now, that breech is the lower part of the human trunk — the buttocks. And that breeches is not its plural form. It’s a trouser worn for mountaineering and riding.
