I promised that I would never skip class again.
Well. I skipped my bio class this afternoon — for a good reason naman eh. I had to study for my other subject, I wasn’t feeling well and aside from those reasons, I was avoiding somebody in particular that I don’t feel like seeing or talking to today. I know it’s a flimsy and invalid excuse, but can you blame me??
Anyway… I did make use of the extra to hours I have wisely. I slept and prepared my brain for a whole evening of study and research for the term paper my professor in bio asked us to do.
I can’t afford missing another meeting in any of my classes. Two weeks until summer classes end. Siguro naman I can tolerate the torture of seeing him (and cursing him) and totally ignore him for the remaining two weeks. He asked me to treat him kindly until summer classes’ end. Fine. I can do that. I’ll ignore him na lang.

Hindi mo pwedeng angkinin ang lahat ng bagay na nakikita at nahahawakan mo. Hindi porque nandiyan yun ngayon, ay habangbuhay na yan nandiyan para sayo.
Hindi pwedeng lahat ng bagay na gusto mo ay masunod. Minsan kailangan mo din isipin ang iba bago mo pagpilitan ang gustong gusto mong mangyari. Hindi ka pwedeng palaging pagbigyan. Hindi ka isang hari para lahat ng utos at gusto mo ay sundin ng madlang tao.
Ang paru-paro ay hindi basta-basta hinuhuli. Kung gusto niyang lumapit sayo, antayin mo siyang lumapit sayo. Kung ayaw, huwag mo pagpilitan — huwag mong piliting hulihin ang kawawang paru-paro…. Baka in the process, masira mo pa pakpak niya. Hindi na yun maaayos pa ulit. Hindi na ulit siya makakalipad. Hindi porque ayaw niya sayo, ay may karapatan ka ng sirain ang buhay niya.
Ang aso kapag kinadena mo at ayaw niya, buong gabi lang yang iiyak at mag-iingay. Hindi ka niya patutulugin hangga’t hindi mo siya pinapakawalan. Para hindi mo maabala ang mga kapit-bahay mong malamang ay minumura ka na, at para din makatulog ka ng mahimbing, pakawalan mo na yung aso. Kung sakali mang mag-layas siya at hindi na ulit bumalik, huwag mo siyang sisisihin. Ibig sabihin lang nun hindi ka naging mabuting amo.
Ang EXcess baggage ay pasakit lamang. Mag impake ng tama lang. Dalhin lang kung ano ang kailangan. Iwanan kung ano ang dapat iwanan. Mahirap maglakad ng madami at mabigat ang dala mo. Sa huli, sisisihin mo lang din ang sarili mo at sasabihin mo na dapat iniwan mo na lang yun.
Kapag nagpunta ka sa mall at may nagustuhan ka, huwag ka ng mag-dalawang isip pa na bilhin yun lalo na’t kung may dala ka din namang pera. Baka kasi pag naghanap ka pa sa iba at binalikan mo siya ng makapagdesisyunan mo na yun talaga gusto mo, ay nabili na siya ng iba. Sakto nag-iisa lang yun wala ng katulad. Kaya dapat, bilisan mo mag-isip at magdesisyon. Huwag mong antayin na may iba pang makakuha sa kaniya.
