Get some scars
Old me vs new me

I used to not care about what I wear when I go to school back then. I usually go out with the first pair of clothes that I manage to pull out of the cabinet. I attend classes wearing the most comfortable clothes I have — shorts and loose shirt. My accessories’ usually comprised of a jewelry or two (watch and a pair of earrings), I only wear slippers, and I never go out without a bag in hand.
Being involved in various organizations and being part of a sorority changed my views in what I should wear when going out and made me conscious of what I look like when I go to school. Being required to meet the standards of the sorority and the ‘elite’ organization that I joined; I was forced to be more particular in my choice of clothes. I learned to wear skirts, dresses and tight-fitting shirts and pants. I seldom wear my house clothes to school, and I can say that I have learned how to have a good taste and choice in clothes and accessories. I am not saying it’s a bad thing, but rather, I am thankful that I learned how to value looking good and presentable when going out.
