Tuesday, February 24, 2009I’m getting fat… People tell me that I have gained weight and my love handles are visible whenever I wear light-colored shirts. My pants don’t fit anymore, I always feel bloated, and I feel like my already humongous legs have doubled its size since last Christmas.
I promised myself a million times already that I would start eating less and do more exercises to lose weight — but my lack of self-discipline led me to eat more and gain more weight in a short span of time. So last weekend, I promised (again) that this time, I would force myself to refrain from eating too much (kahit na sobrang sarap nung food L ). From 1 ½ cups of rice, I now content myself with only 2 tablespoons of rice every meal. I will try to jog at least thrice a week but on second thought, would jog at least once or twice a week para hindi lumaka ang mga PATA ko. Tsk.
Oh yeah. I wish this time self-discipline would prevail and hopefully by summer, I would lose enough weight not just so I can wear swim suits to the beach, but also for my old clothes to fit me once again. If i can’t shed these extra pounds that i gained this past few months, i’ll be forced to drink weight loss pills for fast and effective results.
