Blackberry Plants
Friday, February 6, 2009Fruits from blackberry plants are used for the manufacturing of jams, desserts, seedless jellies, and sometimes wine. Since this type of plant can form hybrids easily, there are many types of cultivars with more than one species in their ancestry. The blackberry is also used in herbal medicine because they are known to contain polyphenol antioxidants, and is used for treatment of diarrhea and dysentery because they are known to regulate certain beneficial metabolic processes in mammals.
