Passion, creativity and money

I have always dreamt of having a business of my own. Even a small business is okay, as long as it is my passion and I enjoy what I’m doing. I want something where I can let all my creativity flow out and earn money at the same time. When I have saved enough money, maybe I’ll buy a small business for sale and try to make it grow, expanding to unimaginable horizons. Now who says passion, creativity and money can’t go along?

Money from old things

Thursday, January 1, 2009

It’s amazing how my mom manages to earn money for things we don’t use anymore. Our old furnitures were sold; old clothes were given to the charity, and things like our old metal TV stands and rusty animal cages were sold to the junk shop (for a hefty price mind you).

At first it was hard to part with our old things because of the sentiments it hold, but seeing how tidy our house was after letting go and how much we earned after selling those things, makes it all worth it.
